What is project seed
Project SEED (Student Entrepreneurs for Educational Development) is a student-run organization that brings in recurring funds to Saratoga High School to counter budget cuts and shortages. We grant the money to school clubs, organizations, and teachers, many of whom have to pay out-of-pocket for classroom projects and supplies.
Oil Recycling Project
Our first self-sustaining model has proven itself to be feasible, garnering thousands of dollars annually for the school. Eventually, we are looking to distribute funds to other schools such as Prospect High and Westmont High on top of helping them start their own SEED initiatives. Currently, we are working with Salinas Tallow, a company that picks up used cooking oil from restaurants and is committed to helping Saratoga High School. Visit the sidebar tabs to learn more about Salinas and the Oil Recycling Project.
